John Paul Benitez is an attorney at Hedayati Law Group, P.C. and has been admitted to practice law in the State of New York since 2024. Mr. Benitez began working in the legal field in 2018 as a Legal Assistant at a boutique law firm in McLean, Virginia. Throughout his law school career, he continued to build his experience through several internships, primarily focused on intellectual property and entertainment law.

Mr. Benitez further expanded his legal foundation by spending a full year as a legal intern for the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, First Department, where he gained valuable exposure to complex appellate matters and further developed his legal research and writing skills.

Before joining Hedayati Law Group, P.C., Mr. Benitez practiced as a junior associate at an immigration law firm, where he primarily handled Special Immigrant Juvenile Status matters and regularly appeared in Family Courts throughout Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, and Bronx Counties.

Mr. Benitez earned his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School, graduating in the top half of his class. During law school, he was actively involved in leadership and extracurricular initiatives. He served as Co-Social Chair and later Vice President of the Latin American Law Students Association and also contributed to the Sports & Entertainment Law Blog as Co-Social Media Manager and Co-Podcast Developer.

Mr. Benitez holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Politics from George Mason University. He is also a member of the New York City Bar Association, where he served on the Entertainment Law Committee for two years.

Today, Mr. Benitez brings his diverse legal background to Hedayati Law Group, P.C., assisting clients with diligence, professionalism, and a strong commitment to achieving effective results.
